Installation Particularities and Tips
Banham rim deadlocks (such as the L2000 series) and mortice locks (such as M2002) require precise template marking, substantial drilling (sometimes up to 32mm diameter for cylinder holes), and careful chiselling to create a mortice for the lock case and faceplate to sit flush with the door.
Installers must avoid placing locks near door joints to preserve door strength and should fit the case mid-height for optimal security.
